The Théâtre du Garde-Chasse stands out for its elegant façade inspired by the Grand Trianon of Versailles. Built between nineteen oh three and nineteen oh five, this Third Republic monument was originally created as a public hall for the town of Les Lilas. It sits on the former garden site of Paul de Kock, a popular nineteenth-century novelist whose bust still marks the entrance.
