The M.U.R. stands at the corner of Rue Oberkampf and Rue Saint Maur, distinguished by its rectangular billboard frame that measures eight meters by three meters. Since two thousand and three, this specific location has functioned as a rotating gallery for urban art, where a new piece is installed every two weeks. The name is an acronym for Modulable, Urbain et Réactif, reflecting the association’s goal of using public space to host ephemeral works that replace one another over time.
