Square Van Vollenhoven is a three thousand six hundred eighty-seven square meter green space in the twelfth arrondissement, identifiable by a tiered fountain decorated with a mosaic. Created in nineteen thirty-seven, the park occupies a site bordering the boulevard Poniatowski. The fountain itself predates the surrounding park, having been constructed for the nineteen thirty-one Colonial Exhibition held nearby at the porte Dorée.
