Le Jardin des Traverses occupies a seven thousand five hundred square meter stretch of the former Petite Ceinture railway line in the eighteenth arrondissement. You can identify this space by the long, narrow corridor of greenery and urban agriculture situated between the Porte de Clignancourt and the rue des Poissonniers, running alongside the boulevard Ney. It is the largest site within the city limits created through the Parisculteurs project, which repurposes abandoned municipal spaces for community farming and ecological projects.
