Eifelio bokštas is the Lithuanian name for the Eiffel Tower, the iron lattice structure on the Champ de Mars in the seventh arrondissement of Paris. This landmark has no connection to the eighteenth arrondissement. The eighteenth arrondissement is the Butte-Montmartre, a district defined by steep hills, the white-domed Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and a history of sheltering painters and writers. This district contains the Moulin Rouge cabaret and the last working vineyard within city limits. The tower remains several miles south of this area, anchored to the riverbank of the Seine.
