The Jardin de la Cité Aubry is a shared garden tucked into a quiet, paved alleyway that curves away from the Rue de Bagnolet. This site sits on ground that once belonged to the Ferme des Bauges, a seventeenth-century farmstead once held by the Jesuits. The Cité Aubry itself, named after a former owner of the land, has long been a place of workshops and small, two-story worker housing that defined the industrial character of this corner of the twentieth arrondissement.
