Statue Anne de Bretagne

The white marble statue of Anne of Brittany stands among the trees of the Jardin du Luxembourg. Carved by the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Joseph Debay and completed around eighteen forty-six, it is part of a series known as the Queens of France and Illustrious Women, which populates the park’s pathways with historical figures.
