The Promenade Jean Vigo is a planted walkway stretching along the Quai de Loire on the edge of the Bassin de la Villette. Measuring two hundred and twenty-six meters in length, this path provides a dedicated pedestrian corridor beside the water in the nineteenth arrondissement. It was officially named in two thousand five to honor the French film director Jean Vigo, whose brief but influential career left an indelible mark on cinema history.
