Musée d’histoire de la médecine

The Musée d’histoire de la médecine occupies a long, wood-paneled room on the second floor of the Université Paris Cité. You can identify the building by its neoclassical stone facade at twelve rue de l’École de Médecine. Inside, the space houses one of the oldest collections of medical history in Europe, featuring approximately fifteen hundred artifacts that trace the development of surgical and diagnostic tools from the eighteenth century through the end of the nineteenth.
