Place Beauvau

Place Beauvau is a public square in the eighth arrondissement, defined by its intersection with the Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, Avenue de Marigny, Rue des Saussaies, and Rue de Miromesnil. You can identify the space by its proximity to the Élysée Palace and the classical architecture of the surrounding buildings, most notably the Hôtel de Beauvau. Completed in seventeen seventy, the square was named for this private residence, which was designed by the architect Nicolas Le Camus de Mézières for Prince Charles Juste de Beauvau-Craon.
