Musée Nissim de Camondo

The Musée Nissim de Camondo stands at sixty-three rue de Monceau, identifiable by its architecture modeled after the Petit Trianon at Versailles. Built between nineteen eleven and nineteen fourteen, this private mansion was the home of the banker and art collector Count Moïse de Camondo. He designed the residence to house his extensive collection of eighteenth-century French decorative arts, including furniture, tapestries, and porcelain, while integrating modern conveniences like central heating and lifts.
