Salle Gaveau

The Salle Gaveau is a classical concert hall located on Rue La Boétie. It is distinguished by its Italian-style auditorium where the stage extends into the audience, a design created by architect Jacques Hermant to achieve precise acoustic qualities. Constructed between nineteen oh six and nineteen oh seven, the venue was commissioned by the Gaveau family as the headquarters for their piano manufacturing business. From the start, it was intended to serve as a specialized space for chamber music, seating roughly one thousand and twenty patrons across three levels.
