The Port de Malmousque is a small, rectangular harbor carved into the rocky coastline of Marseille, defined by its concrete boat ramps and a twenty-five-meter-long protective mole. Surrounded by narrow, traditional fishermen's houses, the basin covers fifteen hundred square meters and provides fifty-five berths for small vessels under four meters in length.
