The Üblacker-Häusl is a small, single-story brick building on the corner of Preysingstraße and Wolfgangstraße, distinguished by its simple, modest appearance and its position on the edge of a small, still-visible former gravel pit. Built at the end of the eighteenth century, the house was one of approximately one hundred and fifty similar structures in Haidhausen that served as hostels for the day laborers who commuted into Munich.
