Turkish Bank House

The Turkish Bank House, or Török Bankház, reveals itself through its nearly sheer, glass-covered facade and the sprawling, intricate mosaic crowning its upper gable. Designed by architects Ármin Hegedűs and Henrik Böhm and completed in nineteen oh six, the building stands in Szervita Square as a distinct example of Hungarian Secessionist architecture. While the lower stories present a modern, functional surface, the top of the building commands attention with a vivid glass mosaic titled Patrona Hungariae, created by the renowned artist Miksa Róth.
