The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur

The Oberoi Udaivilas is defined by a landscape of thirty-seven domes that rise above the banks of Lake Pichola. While it appears to be a historic monument from the era of the Mewari princes, the resort is a modern construction that opened in two thousand two. It occupies land that formerly served as the hunting grounds for the Maharanas of Mewar.
