Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda's Ancestral House & Cultural Centre

This ancestral home at three Gourmohan Mukherjee Street is recognized by its eighteenth-century architectural style, featuring a traditional spacious courtyard bordered by living quarters. It was here, on January twelfth, eighteen sixty-three, that Narendranath Datta was born, the boy who would later become world-renowned as Swami Vivekananda.
