Gringo Gulch

Gringo Gulch is a hillside neighborhood in central Puerto Vallarta, recognizable by its steep cobblestone streets, whitewashed adobe houses, and cascading bougainvillea. Developed in the nineteen fifties, the area sits on the north bank of the Cuale River. The name emerged from the influx of American and Canadian expatriates who settled here during that decade, drawn by the natural terrain of the ravine and the sweeping views of Banderas Bay.
