Basilio Badillo

Basilio Badillo is a street in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, recognizable by its dense collection of galleries, boutiques, and long-standing restaurants. The street is named after Basilio Badillo, an educator and politician who served as the governor of Jalisco from nineteen twenty-one to nineteen twenty-two. During his time in office, he signed the communal land grant that established the legal foundation for Puerto Vallarta.
