Café De Tacuba

Café de Tacuba is marked by a street-level display case filled with sweet breads and cakes, housed within a seventeenth-century colonial mansion. Founded in nineteen twelve by Dionisio Mollinedo, the restaurant occupies a building that once served as part of a convent and a hospital for women. Inside, the walls are decorated with frescoes, colonial-period paintings of historical figures, and ornate wood paneling.
