The Casa de los Azulejos is impossible to miss, defined by its exterior walls which are entirely sheathed in intricate blue and white Talavera tiles imported from Puebla. This eighteenth-century Baroque palace features these ceramic tiles on three sides, creating a facade that has stood out in the city center for hundreds of years. Originally built as the grand residence for the Counts of the Valley of Orizaba, the structure was formed by merging two neighboring homes owned by noble Criollo families.
