Pulquería Las Duelistas

Pulquería Las Duelistas is distinguished by its floor-to-ceiling murals, which feature vibrant, psychedelic depictions of Mesoamerican gods and complex patterns. Located on Aranda Street in the Centro Histórico, this establishment has served as a center for the consumption of pulque—a traditional, fermented agave sap beverage—for over a century. While many similar venues disappeared during the twentieth century due to the rise of commercial beer, this site survived and maintains a focus on the traditional drink.
