The Zawiya of Sidi Bel Abbas is marked by a distinctive green tiled pyramidal roof that rises above the surrounding buildings in the northern part of the medina. This complex serves as the final resting place of Abu al-Abbas al-Sabti, a twelfth-century Sufi teacher born in Ceuta who became known as the patron saint of Marrakesh.
