The shrine of Sidi Abdallah El Ghazouani, known locally as Moul El Ksour, sits in the heart of the central quarters of the Marrakech medina. The building marks the final resting place of a sixteenth-century Sufi scholar who became one of the seven patron saints of the city. He is remembered for his expertise in agricultural and hydraulic techniques, often credited with improving local irrigation systems and managing the gardens of his master’s school.
