Beit Nassif Museum

Beit Nassif is defined by two large, multi-level wooden bay windows that jut out directly over its main entrance. Built between eighteen seventy-two and eighteen eighty-one for Sheikh Omar Effendi Nassif, the mansion stands in the Al-Balad district and is constructed of coral limestone. It houses over one hundred rooms, some of which feature elaborate wood carvings, decorative tiling, and Arabic calligraphy.
