Casal Solleric

The Casal Solleric is a yellow eighteenth-century palace on the Passeig del Born identified by a gallery of five arched openings across its upper façade. Built between seventeen sixty-three and seventeen seventy-five for the wealthy Morell family, this residence remains one of the final great city palaces constructed in Palma. The design, attributed to architect Gaspar Palmer, incorporates Italian and French baroque influences, particularly in its decorative ironwork and carvings created by the artist Antonio Soldati.
