The Consolat de Mar is defined by a sea-facing gallery on its main floor, which features five segmented arches supported by ringed columns and finished with a balustrade. This historic structure, primarily dating to the seventeenth century, sits along the Passeig de Sagrera in Palma. Its origins trace back to thirteen oh six, when King Jaume the Second authorized a tribunal to resolve disputes between merchants and sailors. By thirteen forty-four, King Peter the Ceremonious formally restructured the institution to mirror the maritime consulate of Valencia.
