Edificio Casasayas

Edificio Casasayas is a pair of symmetrical buildings defined by their undulating, wave-like facades and parabolic windows. Constructed between nineteen oh eight and nineteen eleven, the ensemble stands as a prominent example of Catalan Modernisme in Palma. While the two structures appear to face each other across the narrow Carrer de Santacília as a single, unified composition, they are separate buildings that share an identical architectural language of metal columns, wrought iron balconies, and subtle, plant-inspired ornamentation.
