Ca'n Oleza

Ca’n Oleza, at number nine Carrer d’en Morei, is an aristocratic palace recognized by the Renaissance-style facade that features a coat of arms displaying a bear with a fleur-de-lis. Originally built in the sixteenth century by the Descós family, the house gained its name after Salvador de Oleza Sureda acquired the property in the seventeenth century. The building underwent significant changes under his son, Jaume de Oleza Ballester, who directed the transformation of the central courtyard into the style that defines the mansion today.
