The Esglesia de Santa Eulalia is marked by its imposing Neo-Gothic bell tower that rises above the rooftops of Palma’s old town. Begun in twelve thirty-six on the site of a former Moorish mosque, this church served as the largest parish in the city during the thirteenth century. Its construction followed the Catalan Gothic style, featuring a spacious nave and high vaults that distinguish it from surrounding buildings.
