The Drac de na Coca is a taxidermied crocodile that sits in the Museu d'Art Sacre de Mallorca. It measures seven spans in length and is darkened by age. In the seventeenth century, a legend emerged claiming a fierce dragon inhabited the city sewers and terrorized locals under the cover of darkness. This tale grew until a knight named Bartomeu Coch supposedly encountered the beast while visiting his beloved. He killed the creature with his sword and presented it to her as a trophy.
