TOURISMUSEUM

The Tourismuseum occupies a low-slung, historic stone structure in the center of Unterseen’s old town. Originally built as a parsonage in sixteen thirty, this building now houses the first museum in Switzerland devoted entirely to the history of travel and tourism. It traces five hundred years of human movement through the Alpine region, detailing the shift from arduous mountain transit to the era of global leisure.
