Reformierte Schlosskirche

The Reformierte Schlosskirche, or Castle Church, is recognizable by its steep hipped roof and slender pointed-arch windows. It sits as part of a complex that began as an Augustinian monastery in eleven thirty-three, founded by a local nobleman named Otto Seliger von Oberhofen. Over the centuries, this site evolved from a powerful religious institution into a collection of buildings that once served as the largest landholder in the Bernese Oberland.
