The Hazzopulo Passage is a nineteenth-century arcade defined by a peaceful, central courtyard that sits tucked away from the noise of İstiklal Avenue. Opened on April fifteen, eighteen seventy-one, the complex connects İstiklal and Meşrutiyet streets through a series of vaulted stone arches. Its floors are paved with traditional podima pebbles, collected from the Greek village of Yalıköy, a common feature in old Istanbul gardens.
