İBB Sanatkarlar Parkı

Sanatkarlar Parkı is a hillside terrace in the Cihangir neighborhood of Beyoğlu, recognizable by the panoramic view it holds across the water toward the historic peninsula. Often called Roma Park by locals, this public space occupies a slope that has long been a flashpoint for disputes between residents and city planners. Over the past two decades, local groups have repeatedly organized to block various construction projects that would have replaced the open green space with concrete municipal buildings.
