Ship Creek Overlook Park

Ship Creek Overlook Park is a compact urban space defined by its paved loop trail and elevated viewing platforms that sit directly above the water of Ship Creek. This park sits at the intersection of Anchorage’s industrial development and its rugged natural landscape, offering a vantage point to see the creek as it flows toward the Cook Inlet. Interpretive signs placed throughout the grounds detail the history of the Alaska Railroad and the various wildlife species that inhabit the area.
