Fur Rondy Headquarters

The Fur Rondy Headquarters occupies the Wendler Building, a structure recognizable as the oldest commercial building in Anchorage. Originally constructed in nineteen fifteen by Tony and Florence Wendler, the building first operated as a store before being converted into a boarding house. Later, Mrs. Wendler and her daughters opened Club Twenty-Five inside, which served as an exclusive private club for women.
