Miraloma Steps: Dragon Tale Staircase

The Dragon Tale Staircase is a vibrant mosaic installation that climbs from Bella Vista Way to the entrance of Miraloma Elementary School. The stairway features a long, tiled dragon that winds up the concrete risers, with its tail starting at the bottom and its head positioned near the schoolyard. Designed by mosaic artists Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher, the project was completed in twenty-twenty and serves as a colorful, public transition for students and neighbors heading toward the school.
