At nine hundred thirty-eight feet, Mount Davidson is the highest natural point in San Francisco. Its most prominent feature is a concrete cross that rises one hundred three feet into the air at the summit, standing well above the dense forest of blue gum eucalyptus trees that covers much of the slope.
