The Gregangelo Museum stands out in the quiet Balboa Terrace neighborhood with a front exterior often marked by rainbow-colored streamers, striped drapes, and a stairway crafted from repurposed tailpipes and mufflers. Originally a dilapidated Mediterranean-style house built in the nineteen twenties, it was transformed starting in the nineteen eighties by artist and performer Gregangelo Herrera.
