The Scottish Rite Masonic Center on Nineteenth Avenue is distinguished by its smooth, stark concrete exterior, which prominently displays a large double-headed eagle medallion. Designed by architect Albert F. Roller and opened in nineteen sixty-three, this building serves as the meeting place for a local chapter of the Scottish Rite and several Masonic lodges. The structure offers a dramatic visual contrast to the dense, mature trees of Stern Grove located directly across the street.
