The Cecil F. Poole House at ninety Cedro Avenue is a large, Craftsman-style home built in nineteen eleven for Joseph A. Leonard, the developer who first plotted the Ingleside Terraces neighborhood. Leonard designed the house as a showpiece for his new subdivision, which he originally marketed as an exclusive enclave protected by restrictive covenants intended to exclude non-White residents.
