The Antique Vibrator Museum occupies a room tucked inside the Good Vibrations retail store at sixteen twenty Polk Street in the Nob Hill neighborhood. Its collection features over one hundred devices, ranging from nineteenth-century hand-cranked and gas-powered models to twentieth-century electric versions housed in velvet-lined cases. These objects once served as household appliances, marketed to alleviate conditions like muscle fatigue, headaches, and digestive complaints.
