Schubert Hall, located at two thousand ninety-nine Pacific Avenue, stands as a notable example of early twentieth-century architecture in the Pacific Heights neighborhood. Completed in nineteen oh five, the building is constructed of wood and stucco and draws inspiration from European Baroque designs. It was commissioned by John D. Spreckels, Junior, as a wedding gift for his son, and it sits next to a Georgian Revival mansion that once served as its guest house.
