Bimbo's 365 Club

Bimbo’s Three Sixty-Five Club is marked by a prominent neon marquee hanging over the sidewalk at ten twenty-five Columbus Avenue. This venue began in nineteen thirty-one as a clandestine speakeasy on Market Street, founded by Italian immigrant Agostino Giuntoli. Giuntoli, who arrived in San Francisco with two dollars in his pocket, earned his nickname "Bimbo"—the Italian word for boy—while working as a cook at a nearby establishment.
