Cloud Gate is a massive, elliptical sculpture in Millennium Park that serves as a giant mirror for the Chicago skyline. Measuring thirty-three feet high, sixty-six feet long, and forty-two feet wide, its surface is composed of one hundred sixty-eight stainless steel plates welded together and polished until no seams remain. The sculpture weighs one hundred ten tons and sits on the plaza atop the Millennium Hall.
