The Wrigley Building

The Wrigley Building is defined by its gleaming, white terra-cotta facade, which glows against the Chicago skyline. This two-towered structure sits at the northern end of the Michigan Avenue Bridge, inaugurated in nineteen twenty-one as the first major office building north of the Chicago River. Its design, by the firm Graham, Anderson, Probst and White, incorporates a clock tower inspired by the Giralda in Seville, with the exterior tiles shifting through six subtle shades of white to appear brighter as they rise.
