New Mexico Museum of Art-Vladem Contemporary

The Vladem Contemporary is defined by its exterior of perforated metal scrim, a modern shell that wraps around a historic nineteen thirty-six brick warehouse. Located in the Railyard Arts District, this building is the second site of the New Mexico Museum of Art, created to provide a dedicated space for contemporary and post-war art that the museum’s original nineteen seventeen Plaza building could not accommodate.
