Thirty-three Acres Brewing Company is defined by its clean, whitewashed interior, featuring light wood paneling, tall windows, and plant life that fills the space with natural light. Located at fifteen West Eighth Avenue, the brewery opened in July twenty thirteen in the Mount Pleasant area. Founder Joshua Michnik designed the facility himself, handling everything from the renovations to the installation of the brewing kit. He drew on his background in graphic design to build a space intended to foster community, intentionally placing it where people could drop in during their morning commute for coffee or stop by on their way home for a pint.
