Olympic Village Square

Two giant sparrow sculptures stand in this central square, their immense scale making them visible from across the plaza. Known as "The Birds," these figures by local artist Myfanwy MacLeod overlook a site that served as the temporary home for nearly three thousand athletes, coaches, and officials during the twenty-ten Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
